What’s good, tokers?
It has been a minute since I have reported in for you, but I am back for the moment. The Chicago marathon training is going very well. Today is the start of week 12 of 18 of my training and I am still fired up.
Last week, I suffered a major set back. I injured my foot and couldn’t run. But instead of crying about it. I fired up some ganja, chilled out and just rode the stationary bike for the week. Let me just say riding 15 to 25 miles a day is no joke and I really hope it has kept me in shape for the running that is ahead of me. I feel like it did.
Weight Loss & Marijuana
For all of those that don’t think running can take the pounds and inches off of your body, think again. I have lost 15 pounds since starting my marathon training. The crazy thing is that I didn’t realize that I had any weight to lose. I thought my body was all good and I was looking and feeling good.
Well, now I look and feel GREAT! Yes, I said it and I haven’t even fired one up for the day just yet. But I do feel great. I am at my old football playing weight back in college over 13 years ago and loving it. Once I start doing some push ups and sit ups, then I will really be back.
But just wanted to keep you in the loop on my progress. I am still at it, smoking and running like a mad man. This is going to be awesome to break that tape downtown Chicago and prove to all the people and smokers in the world that marijuana can be smoked while you are training for anything, including a marathon.
