It is official, Potheads, the United States of America has a new health care bill that passed is and is being touted as the most historic legislation in the past 40 years. As Vice President, Joe Biden, said, “This is a BIG FUCKING DEAL!”

I couldn’t believe that he said such a think to the President on the mic. What, did he not know the microphone would be live and on when it is next to the President, or did he just not give a damn because it was a big fucking deal.

No matter how you feel about the legislation, it was about time this country did something to help the people that are struggling through this economy.

With that said, I am not feeling this bill at all. It is luke warm as they say. Think about it, this bill pleased no one, but the Insurance companies, the President didn’t get the support he wanted and how are they going to stop Insurance companies from raising the prices.

I would have liked to see a nonprofit healthcare sector. That would have done it for me. At least that would have giving me the illusion that someone cared about the people. The people are only the backbone, muscle, and tissue of this country. You would think or hope that those that Govern it would at least show an interest in the people beyond lip service.

I don’t want to get to political on this site, but Potheads have an opinion as well.

One bill I would like to see is the one that legalizes marijuana and makes it available to the people to use on the medical and recreational purposes.

Anyway, so it is 2:18pm and I finally got a chance to fire up my blunt and sit at the computer. But I have been cutting wholes in my ceiling and searching for a leaky pipe.

A few months back, my wife and I stopped using our shower because we feared it was leaking water onto our drywall below and cause major damage and dollars. Well, today was the day I decided I was going to tackle this issue. So, i jumped into my truck and ran to Menards to get a drywall knife to start doing damage.

As you can see from the pics, I went to work in two particular locations.  The first one was underneath my master shower and the second in the corner, above the door way. Need to see below the master shower to see if there were leaks from the drain, nothing. Then, there was wet spots showing in the corner, so I cut a section out there.

When I turned the shower on, there was no sign of wet surfaces or water dripping. I thought I was in the clear, but wanted to call in someone else. So I called my neighbor, he came over from bowling and drinking a bit, rushes upstairs to piss, and used one of the bathrooms above where I had been cutting  into the ceiling and water falls on the floor.

Turns out, it was the second floor, common toilet that was leaking all these months, not our master shower. Hahahaha, so yes, we had not used our shower in months for nothing. That is too funny.

My neighbor had a good laugh, but it is all good to me cause I can’t wait to take a shower there. It is not much, but it is mine.

There is more coming because now we have to remove the toilet, then change the wax ring, what ever that is. Guess I will find out today.  But, now I am high as I have step aboard the spaceship and took a flight. So, this next project should be interesting,

Who is Jackson Blaze?

I am the everyday person that wants more for their children, love life, get high and work diligently in my profession. I am an entrepreneur that has created the luxury of working from home everyday. I have had three jobs in my life, one in high school, one in undergrad, and one in grad school. Once I graduated, I was and have been on my own.

One of the chief reasons this is so is because I like to blow ganja, be with my family, actively raise my children, stay fit, read, learn, grow and more, but these things are made difficult following the typical employment paths. Therefore, I am an ambitious, opinionated, compassionate entrepreneur that will be speaking with you from time to time about things that occupy my mind while high.

Most smokers want to know what is so great about smoking out of pipes and bongs, which is a great question. My immediate thought is, who would ask this question? They must be new smokers, but that is cool. I remember the good old days when I first started smoking marijuana, weed, ganja, the goodness, mary jane, joints, spliffs, twigs, whatever you want to call it.

I began smoking weed 15 years ago for the first time. Will never forget it. In college, I hadn’t tried any drugs at all because I was an athlete and didn’t want to taint my body with any poisons. Well, my freshmen year, I lived in the dorms across the hall from these two dudes from the south somewhere. They were cool as hell.

Hitting the Bong for the first time

One day, I am over their room and he pulls out the bong. This was not regular bong. This was a red, three foot, tubular bong with a black rubber piece at the top, a black plastic base at the bottom, and a silver mouthpiece sticking out at the bottom. It was polished and clean.

Inside this three foot long bong was a little bit of water and ice cubes. I was told that this was to ensure the smoke from the bong would be cooled so it goes down our lungs easily without the burn. Thought that was a great idea….and it was.

The bowl of the bong was packed and it was time to fire up the bong and get our smoke on. What a way to be introduced to marijuana. It was my turn, so I stepped up in the cypher. Putting the lighter to the bud, my mouth to the rubber end of the bong, and inhaling. The smoke rushed up the three foot bong and straight into my lungs. As you can imagine I damn near coughed my lungs up and my eyes turned red immediately. I was high as hell.

By the time I walked across the hall to my dorm room, my roommate couldn’t believe what he say. I was so high, cheesy smiling, and laughing that it had to be hilarious. I ate all the snacks in our room and that was the beginning of my love affair with Mary Jane. It began with a big ass bong.

Pipes and Bongs

Pipes and bongs are the premiere way to smoke marijuana, weed as far as I am concerned. You will love it because you get pure marijuana and not the paper or the blunt that you might be smoking out of. Using the pipe or the bong is a great way to remove one variable from your smoking that you can control.

In addition, using pipes and bongs to smoke marijuana will save you money and make your weed last longer. Just think about it, you smoke more than you need with your blunt and your joints. I know you do cause I do the same thing. I find that one bowl on the pipes and bongs has me high as hell, especially if it is that purple haze marijuana or weed. That shit is fire and I love it, but you don’t need much of it. In a blunt or a joint, you wind up wasting the weed by letting it burn or just smoking more than you need to be high.

In pipes and bongs, you get just what you need and are able to put the rest away. You will enjoy smoking marijuana out of a pipes and bongs, we promise.

Ingredients:

½ oz finely ground marijuana bud

Cheesecloth

3 Cups Water

1 Cup Brewed Coffee

1 stick unsalted butter

1 bag chocolate morsels

1. In a medium saucepan, boil water.

2. Add Butter

3. When butter is melted, add finely ground marijuana bud, simmer for 1 hour stirring occasionally.

4. Strain mixture into a large enough bowl through the cheesecloth.  Be sure to thoroughly rinse all butter from grounds in cheesecloth.

5. Discard cheesecloth and ground bud remains discreetly.

6. Mixture in bowl should be free of plant matter, butter and water mixed together and still very hot, be careful.

7. Cover bowl and refrigerate for at least 8 hours

8. Remove cover from bowl, butter will be solidified at the top of the water.

9. Remove butter and place in a separate bowl allowing it to soften to room temperature.

10. In a double boiler, add chocolate to begin melting.

11. Once chocolate is softened, add coffee and butter slowly until well blended.

12. Do not overheat the chocolate; the coffee will help with consistency as you add the butter.  Allow mixture to get to a very soft liquid state, but not to a boil.  Boiling will reduce the THC level in the butter.

13. Once mixed well, pour into chocolate molds and allow to cool.

14. Eat and enjoy.

In the last article series, we covered a variety of ways to smoke marijuana, so let’s do a quick review for those that might have missed it. Ways 1 through 4 where:

1) Onion Blunts – If you have to ask, then you are not hip yet. We will share.

2) Roll a Joint – This is the all time classic way to smoke weed.

3) Roll a Blunt – This is the hip hop version of the classic weed smoking method.

4) Pack a Bong – Got to love packing up a phatty into a bong and smoking it.

Ok, now that the quick review is over with, let’s get back into the content with more ways to smoke weed. I don’t  know about you, but this could go on forever if we get some participation from the readership because I know damn well that you have several ways to smoke weed that I am not aware of, so don’t be shy and share them below in the comment section. We will publish them and work on building a comprehensive list of how to get high as hell with different ways to smoke weed and marijuana.

Ways to Smoke Weed – Continued

5) Use a one hitter – A one hitter is a nifty way to smoke weed if you don’t need a lot or want a lot at the time being. The reason I say that is because if you use a one hitter, then you will only be able to take basically one hit at a time. Therefore, if you wanted to consume a larger amount of marijuana, then you would have to constantly pack and re-pack the one hitter to get more. However, one hitters have their function.

For example, if you are out in public and just want to get quickly zooted, then an one hitter is perfect for this situation. I remember being on the magnificent mile in Chicago, Il, sitting at an outside bar with a beer, and enjoying the day. Struck up a conversation with this guy that was pretty cool. After a while of conversing, the conversation turned to weed and he pulled out his little kit with the one hitter tucked inside and passed it to me.

I packed the one hitter by packing it down inside the box, which filled the tip with weed or marijuana, pulled it out, lit it up right there on the magnificent mile and toked away. It was awesome and no one noticed because the one hitter was made to look like a cigarette. They are very practical when out and about and just want to get a bit high for the moment. Works best with high grade marijuana.

6) A Can – Ok, I know this might be getting a bit extreme for many of you, but bare with me. In college, you tend to have a bunch of time on your hands and not a lot of money. We didn’t have an onion, so a friend of mine was being very creative and figure out a way for us to smoke weed out of a soda can.

He crushed the can down in the middle to create a V shape in the middle of the can and poked wholes in that area of the can. We set the weed on the wholes in the can, lit the weed, and pulled the smoke out through the soda can whole that typical people drink out of. It is not the most efficient way to smoke weed, but it works. I got high has hell and loved it. I must admit that I have not smoked out of a can since that day, but I remember it and it is possible.

7) Vaporize the Weed – A vaporizer is awesome, but let me warn you know. If you are not a real deal weed head, then maybe you should not be messing with this thing. A vaporizer will do just that to your weed, vaporize it into tiny particles that you cannot even see. You inhale these particles just like you would if it were smoke, then exhale it out after holding for a bit in your lungs. This is a very powerful and smokeless method of getting high, but again I think you should exercise caution. For those of you that are trying the Hide the smell of weed and marijuana, then this is for you because there is no smoke. In the article that is linked, we go into more details on ways to hide the smell of weed for you.

There are literally thousands of ways to smoke weed and get high as you want to. I am sure you believe me at this point as we have been writing about weed and marijuana for over a year now, or you are high as hell. I am going to go with the latter because we smoke marijuana and obviously, you do to.

Anyway, let’s get into a few of my favorite ways to smoke weed cause this is what we like to do around here on this website.

Ways to Smoke Weed

1) An Onion – Without a doubt, this is the greatest way to smoke weed I have ever seen. If you are not hip to how this process works, then I really feel for you. I can still remember the day when my friends came over my house and we didn’t have any papers, blunts or bongs to smoke out of and were very disappointed. A friend asked did we have any onions and my wife being the cook that she is had some in the refrigerator. She took the onion, peeled it, and rolled a clear blunt from the onion. It was amazing and so was the high that we enjoyed.

2) Roll a Joint - Obviously, this is the classic version of ways to smoke weed, an oldie, but goodie. Doesn’t mean that it isn’t the very, very good because it is. We Smoke Marijuana really enjoys blowing some good ganja in a joint. The problem that I have with joints is that they don’t burn evenly all the time. Because if you are freestyle rolling them, then it is likely that it will not be very even and therefore your burning will move up one side faster than the other.

There is a solution to this that I prefer and once I tried this, it changed my joint smoking pattern forever.  The secret is using a joint roller instead of rolling a  joint freestyle. A joint roller is what I call it, but it is really a cigarette roller. This little machine allows you to put the weed inside of it, then take a joint paper and roll it down into the machine and when you open it up, your joint will be perfectly rolled like a cigarette.

It allows the weed to be placed evenly along the joint, and therefore, it burns evenly. It even burns slower with is a great benefit because if you are just holding the joint, typically it will just burn up your weed.

3) Roll a Blunt – We know this is super hip hop, ghetto style ways to smoke weed, but it is great. They are We Smoke Marijuana approved because they are longer than joints and allow you to get more weed into one smoke session that a joint or any other method. Besides, there is just something about the rolling process of a blunt that is great.

We think rolling a blunt to smoke weed is great because of the ritual aspect of it. You know, you are sitting with a bunch of friends, who hopefully are rolling one as well, busting the blunt open, emptying the contents of the cigar, crumbling your weed up, putting it into the blunt, licking the edges, rolling, sealing, firing it up, and passing it to the left hand side. Remember, he who rolls the blunt, gets to take a few extra tokes for the effort and work put into it, so don’t rush the roller to pass the blunt to you.

4) Pack a Bong – This had to be the wildest ways to smoke weed for me. The first time I smoked weed was in a bong. What a way to start smoking weed, let me tell you? I was in college. My roommate and I had never tried weed before. But my friend across the hall smoked weed all the time. Oh yeah, it was freshmen hear, so I was open to just about anything.

Anyway, one day he talked me into coming over to his dorm room for a toke. I did and it was amazing. Dude pulls out this 3 foot bong with some water and ice in it. At the time, I had no idea that the water and ice is suppose to cool the smoke so when you pull it, it is not as harsh on your lungs and you can take in more smoke….and effectively get higher.

When I came back into my dorm room, my roommate was like, “Dude, what the fuck is wrong with you? Your eyes are bloodshot red.” LMAO! It is funny as hell thinking back. Every time I get high, my friends call it Christmas because I have green eyes and when I smoke they turn red. It is pretty funny, but packing a bong is a great way to smoke weed if you are into getting really, really high as hell.

Hemp History

The use of hemp has been around for thousands of years. I know this may be hard to believe, but it is true. There have been documented evidence of the ancient Egyptians using the plant, the Chinese using it back in it’s Dynasty era, India has used it for thousands of years, the aboriginal Australians, South Americans, and even those in the Americas thousands of years ago.

Knowing that hemp has been used for food, clothing, canvases, fibers, oil, a smoking substance and more, leads us to wonder how and why did hemp all but disappear from the modern productive world? Well, this documentary goes into this as well, but we will leave that for later.

Just understand that hemp has not always been a damned drug in this world and we believe one day it will be back and thus will free the people from the entrapments of corporate greed. Cause once you understand how and why hemp was banned in the United States, the influence the United States has on the rest of the world, then you will get why this was a corporate decision and not the will of the people. But we will get into that in a moment.

The United States was founded on the backbone of the hemp movement. All paper during the founding of the country was created on hemp. In fact, the declaration of Independence was printed on 100% hemp paper.

Hemp, the Forest, and Paper

Hemp is critical to the forest because it has the capacity to save the forest from destruction of people. Each year, people consume billions of pounds of paper for reading, books, wrapping gifts and a myriad of other activities. But each one of these activities takes trees to create the paper used. These trees are being torn down day and day in the forest of the world. This may not seem like a big deal, but at the rate we are on today, this simply isn’t a sustainable future. Eventually, we will run out of trees to continue feeding our paper fetish.

Not to mention that the paper that are generated by wood has a lower quality of paper than compared to hemp. These papers need to be treated and infested with tons and tons of chemicals that treat the wood and turn it into useful paper. These chemicals run off into the water streams around the plants and infect the environment around it. The pollution from making paper is crazy and it makes no sense when there is an option that grows from the ground.

Hemp paper does not need any chemicals or pesticides to grow, unlike cotton. So hemp is great for the environment. And in paper production, the chemicals to make paper useful are not needed in hemp paper. It is just completely friendly to the environment.

More on Hemp

There are many, many more uses for hemp and the derivatives that it produces that it isn’t even funny. If people really want to make a difference in this world, then they have to wake up to the reality that this plant was put here by the Gods to help the people, not harm them.

But until hemp is legalized, we will smoke in protest. Smoke one to the greatness of the hemp plant!

The people that opposed the medicinal marijuana use were outraged at the message this would send the youth that marijuana is acceptable and ok for them to try. One lady quoted some statistics that said that marijuana usage goes up with the perception that is ok by the greater society, which is interesting considering marijuana has never been perceived as acceptable, so I wonder where she made these figures up from.

Besides, there are greater drug issues, crime, and economic conditions that need to be addressed instead of fighting marijuana legalization in the State of New Jersey.

Opposition aside, this is a major victory for those living in the State of New Jersey that have cancer and a myriad of other infections where their quality of life and appetite can be restored by the use of medicinal marijuana. Now finally maybe the thousands of medical marijuana doctors that support this movement can come out and start practicing like they know is best for their patients.
