Is Marijuana Bad?

The question of if marijuana is bad for people has come up again and again, long with the legalization of marijuana. Despite the numerous studies that show the harmlessness of marijuana on the body over time and in the short period, people still have this misconception that marijuana is bad for them.

Is Marijuana Bad?

Let’s compare the effects of marijuana to the legal cigarettes for a moment. It will only take a moment because once your realize what the science is, you will understand how absurd this comparison and conversation even is. Cigarettes have been demonstrated to cause lung cancer in the majority of it’s users over time. In the short run, cigarettes even harm the people around the smoke because we all know that second hand smoke is almost as deadly as smoking the cigarette yourself. Cigarettes are so bad that many states, including Illinois, has band the smoking of cigarettes indoors.

Now Marijuana

There are no reputable studies that link marijuana to lung cancer or any other diseases. In fact, marijuana is only linked to helping and curing many medical conditions such as glaucoma, various cancers, eczema, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis and more. 

To be honest, there is no question that marijuana is not harmful or bad, but in fact that is the closest thing to a wonder drug that is on the market…including all of the synthethic drugs that are on the market as well. Take a moment to do some of the research for yourself and I think you will find that marijuana is not only not bad for you, but actually good.
